What an inspiring post! I have had the privilege of working with Deborah when she was the director of children’s musicals. I can attest to her brilliance and creative compositions.

Add to this, her father was my 6th grade teacher and favorite of all times. However, I never knew, until recently, that he was an amazing artist as well.

I have been thoroughly enjoying Debbie’s CD, “Pianoscapes,” and highly recommend her music to others.

I’m excited about Digital Print Publishing and how easy it makes it for composers to get their music out there! Deborah Hanson’s compositions are lovely~ it’s neat to have her share the backgrounds of some of her pieces. I can’t wait to play Marito!

Thanks Sheet Music Plus for the refresihing interview with Deborah Kelly Hanson. It is always inspiring to hear composers talking about their work and how they got started as composers and I look forward to checking out Deborah’s pieces.
